How engagement works
Three products, in sequence. Each step is a decision point, not a commitment to the next.
The path
Audit, Bundle, Sprint, retainer.
Most businesses do not need every step. Some run the AI Stack Audit for a vendor-neutral inventory and act on the findings internally. Some progress to the Bundle for the written governance posture and 30/60/90 plan. A subset run a Sprint to execute against the priority finding, and a smaller subset continue with the Fractional CAIO retainer. The sequence is built so each step earns the next, never the reverse.
01
AI Stack Audit
$1,500 · 10 business days
The Audit is the entry diagnostic. Vendor-neutral inventory of every AI tool your company is paying for. Three highest-exposure gaps named. Two-page executive summary plus detailed appendix, plus a 60-minute review call with Kirk.
The Audit stands on its own. Many CEOs run it to get a clean read on exposure for a board or insurer conversation, then act internally. If you engage the Bundle within 90 days, the $1,500 credits against the $5,000 Bundle price.

Strategy + Governance Bundle
$5,000 · $3,500 net for Audit graduates · five-day delivery
The Bundle is the entry point. A 90-minute structured workshop with three pre-call questions answered in advance, followed by a written governance memo and 30/60/90 action plan delivered within five business days. The memo identifies prioritized AI risks, scores them against the Kizata Governance Ladder, and includes the foundational policies your business needs in writing.
The Bundle stands on its own. Most engagements close at the Bundle. The governance memo and action plan are what the leadership team needs to act on internally. The Bundle does not require a Sprint or retainer to provide value.

The Sprint
A Sprint is a defined transformation engagement scoped against the priority finding from the Bundle. Workstreams are named, owners are assigned, the cadence is biweekly, and the duration is bounded. The Sprint is not a discovery exercise. The Bundle already identified what to address. The Sprint executes against it.
Sprint scope and pricing are determined post-Bundle, based on the governance memo and the business's operating context. Pricing is engagement-specific. Most Sprints fall in a defined range that is shared during scoping.

Fractional CAIO Retainer
$7,500–$12,000/mo · month-to-month
Standing executive presence on AI strategy, governance posture, vendor reviews, and board reporting. The retainer keeps the operating discipline in place after the Bundle and Sprint: frameworks holding, decisions captured, the leadership team supported on the AI risk surface as it evolves.
The right level depends on the work the business is doing and the execution capacity already in place. The fit is determined after the Bundle delivers, not pre-engagement.
Available after Sprint completion or by direct engagement.
Why the sequence
Earned, not assumed.
Most consulting engagements assume the relationship before the work has earned it. The buyer signs a retainer first and the assessment comes later, framed by what the consultant has been hired to find.
Kizata works the other way. The Bundle is the proof. The Sprint is the work. The Fractional CAIO retainer is what continues when both have demonstrated their value. Each step is a decision point, made with the prior step's output in hand. That structure protects the buyer's ability to leave at any point without sunk cost, and it protects the integrity of the work, because each engagement starts from real findings rather than assumed ones.
What this is not
A few things to be clear about.
Not a fixed package.
The Bundle is a fixed product. The Sprint and the retainer are scoped to the work, not pre-packaged.
Not a sales funnel.
Most engagements close at the Bundle. Some progress to a Sprint. A subset continue with the retainer. The sequence is real. It is not a mechanism to escalate every buyer to the highest tier.
Not a substitute for in-house leadership.
Kizata operates alongside the operating leaders running the business. The work makes them more effective. It does not replace them.
The path opens at the Bundle.
Five days on your calendar. A defensible governance posture on your desk. The clearest move in front of you.
